What’s something you have today that you once wished for?
For Day 4 of my Thankful 30 Scrap Journal series, I’m celebrating my design studio—a space I dreamed about long before it became a reality.
For years, I crafted at the dining table, in a spare bedroom, or wherever I could find room. Having a separate building for my home office and creative projects has given me a place to spend time doing something I love. It’s something I’m truly grateful for.
Today’s Prompt
“What is something I currently have that I once wished for?”
Your answer might be a home, a friendship, an opportunity, or a small everyday comfort. This prompt gives us a chance to pause and appreciate something that was once only a wish.
My Day 4 Scrap Journal Page
I used three photos of my studio to document this part of my story. Green and brown patterned papers complement the building, while the “Happy Life” title captures how I feel about having this space.
Personal journaling brings the page together by recording why the studio means so much to me. The photos show the building, but the words explain the gratitude behind it.
