Hello!
I want to take a moment to remind everyone about some fun summer contests going on here at TradeFish Designs. If you are interested in winning one of the following prizes go HERE for details.
Prizes: (1) $20 gift certificate to TradeFish Designs; (2) an Issue of Cricut Magazine and/or (3) the Reminisce Accents Cricut Cartridge!
Today's project was designed by a very special customer...E.T. She is practically a regular in the Customer Spotlight segment of the blog and if you check out her work on her blog, HERE, you will see why. Today's card is just beautiful.
I think E.T.'s use of the black/grey/white combination with the splash of soft pink ribbon is just breathtaking. She uses a sentiment from the Missing You stamp set by TradeFish Designs.
I think you will find all of E.T.'s work just as beautiful as this card. Please share your joy and appreciate for this card in the comments below as well as on E.T.'s blog.
To see this stamp set and others check out TradeFish Designs!

TradeFish Designs & Another Year Layout
Thursday, July 28, 2011
Hello Everyone!
I am back again with a special layout I created using the Another Year set. I was hoping to put the layout together in a video but my family had other plans so instead I took a few photos. The first photo is of the complete layout. My hope is that you see that your clear stamps can be used for more than just cards!
The layout is incomplete as I have not selected the photo yet which means I also need to pick out a title too. I often create layouts that are ready for me to add photos to later. Having layouts ready to finish inspires me to get those photos in my camera developed.
Here is a close up of the birthday cake (with candle) stamp. I colored the cake and candle with my Copic Markers - I made the cake to look like a chocolate cake (can you say YUM?!). I also added the banner stamp...I paper-pieced different patterned and solid paper and hung them from some red and white baker's twine.
Here is a close up of the journaling box. I decided to use the confetti stamp from the Another Year stamp set and colored them in with, you guessed it, my Copic Markers! I think the confetti adds a festive look and spices up the journal box.
I took this shot on an angle to try and show you the dimension created in the layout. The banners and cake are popped up with some dimensional tape. I decided to take the photo box and schnaz it up with some baker's twine and a bright red button. The twine was wrapped around the mat 3 times with the ends of the twine used to tie the button into position.
I hope you enjoyed this CAS layout I created using the Another Year stamp set. Come back tomorrow to see what our July Guest Designer, Kate, has created for you.
Also, please don't forget the Summer of Fun Contest we have going on here at TradeFish. What contests you say? Well, check HERE for the details.
Happy Crafting!

TradeFish Designs...back from vacation and still "Missing You"
Monday, July 18, 2011
Hello Everyone!
How fantastic was last week? Did I pull together an amazingly talented group of ladies or what?!? I am so proud to call them the TradeFish Design Team. An extra special thanks to my July Guest Designer and my new Senior Design Team Member Kate Cordero. She rallied the team together and totally took over for me while I was on vacation. She has been a life-saver and I was able to really relax knowing she had it all under control...thanks Kate!
So...I am back from a week long vacation with my family...I must say that I wish I had another week. Now that I am back I should be getting back in the swing of things soon but I must admit that Monday was looming ahead of me and I was not prepared. Well, while out of town one of my fantastic customers, Erum, forwarded a link to her blog and this amazing card and I was rescued:
Erum is a wonderfully talented crafter located in Pakistan. She used the Missing You stamp set for her sentiment and this card is just stunning! Check out her other cards and share some love for her beautiful work.
Come back tomorrow for some more crafty ideas using stamps from TradeFish Designs.

Hello my crafty friends, my name is Ivette (aka Latin Scrap Diva) from All About Me & My Scrapbook
I want to first start by saying that I'm so excited to join the TradeFish Designs family, thanks C!
I have been a scrapbook addict for 10 years which all started after I was invited to a scrapbook get-together.
I have been blogging for almost 4 years now and I love paper, scissors, adhesive and stamps. I don’t really have a style because I think of my work as an adventure with many different ways of creating. I have a passion for tools and new techniques. I got my first Cricut in August 2006 and my new love is for my Copic markers. I have neglected my scrapbooks for card making for two years now after I was forced to stay at home following a work accident... for two months all I did was challenge after challenge, guess what? I still haven't stopped yet.
I wanted to share a project I made for you today:
Here is what the stamp set looks like:

I look forward to showing you my creations using my TradeFish Design Stamps. I just love creating with them.

Hi Everyone my name is Amy can you can find me here at Amy's Crafting Space
By day I work as a Registered Client Associate at a Financial Services Firm, and by night I am crafting in my workspace. I have a love of crafting of any kind, and have dabbled in glass fusing, sewing, counted cross- stitch, and crochet....but I have a love of papercrafting in particular. I made my first scrapbook when we came back from a family vacation when my oldest was in high school, and haven't looked back since.
Eventually my scrapbooking turned into making cards for friends and family. I found that the recipient loved to receive a homemade card that was made especially for them as it was extra special. I love using all types of tools like my electronic cutter, rubberstamps, embossing machine, and anything that adds interest and texture to a project. Even though I have been crafting for several years, I'm relatively new to the online blogging community. I started my blog in April and joined my first challenge. I have met so many wonderful and inspirational crafting bloggers in this new adventure I have been taking. I am so excited and happy to now be part of the TradeFish Stamps Design Team.

Hi Emily here and you can find me at Emmie-Lou Who... Stamps at You
My name is Emily Niehaus and I am a Registered Nurse who mostly stays at home with my three boys-Will (10) Max (5) and Luke (5). Being a mom of three boys makes life interesting, to say the least! Add twins to that equation, and sometimes life is a down right circus! I have been married to my wonderful husband, Bill for 12 years. We enjoy watching the boys play ball-baseball, basketball and football. We also travel a lot and love to take weekend trips in our camper (I haven't been brave enough to do longer than a weekend in the camper)!
Besides stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking, I love to read, needlepoint and counted cross stich. I am a HUGE football fan! I will drop EVERYTHING come fall to watch a game!!! We love rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cincinnati Bengals every fall.
Here is a card I wanted to share with you today using Grill Master

I am super excited to be designing for Tradefish Designs!

Hi! My name is Kate and you can find me here at Scrappers Creative Corner
I am super excited to be a part of this team and very honored that Cecilia has picked me to be her Senior Design Team Member of her expanding company. I look forward to showing everyone of you the projects I make using TradeFish Designs. I am sure you are going to love each and every one of her stamps like I do and I can't wait for you to see more of her line.
I guess, I have always been into scrapbooking, before I knew what to call it or what acid free was, I would cut my journaling and pictures out of magazines. I got my Expression in 2007. Then, I really got into scrapbooking when my daughter was born 2. 5 years ago and then started learning how to make cards about a year ago. I started my blog last year and it has been the greatest stress reliever. I also LOVE my Copics.

Trade Fish Designs and Me!
Monday, July 11, 2011
Hiya Everyone,
This is going to be an amazing week here at TradeFish Designs. This week you will be introduced to the ubber-talented new Design Team and get a peek at some of the things they have been working on for TFD. But, today is the day you get to know a little bit about me...C!
This is going to be an amazing week here at TradeFish Designs. This week you will be introduced to the ubber-talented new Design Team and get a peek at some of the things they have been working on for TFD. But, today is the day you get to know a little bit about me...C!
(Sorry for the fuzziness of this photo)
But, one of the reasons you are here (hopefully) is that you know that I have also embarked on an amazing journey this year to start my own clear stamp company. I know, wow! So I have been a stamping fan for some time now. It all started with a card-making class at Michaels and evolved with the help of Stampin' Up and Close to my Heart. Now, you know there are some amazing stamps out there being produced by some fantastic companies (see Lawn Fawn, Papertrey Ink and Verve to name just a few) that have seen their fair share of my crafting dollars...but I always felt something was missing. I am not a girly-girl by any stretch and so when yet another flower set came out (albeit gorgeous) and nothing I could use for my hubby or step-son on the horizon I kinda snapped (but in a good way). See, I like to make cards (please visit Operation Write Home) and scrapbook pages that incorporate stamping. When the main subjects of this work are my husband and son you can see my dilema. There are only so many ways a girls can use some fishing or clock stamps ya know?! So I set out on a qwest to find stamps and I just really didn't find anything that got me excited so...TradeFish Designs was born.
Before I let you go on and view my latest project I want to also clear the air about TradeFish Designs (aka TFD). This company is all about creating fun clear stamps (made in the USA btw) that can be used for anyone! TFD stamps can be used for masculine and feminine cards so please don't think you can only use TFD stamps to make stuff for guys....not true! Now if you are looking for gorgeous flowers, cute butterflies and girly swirls stamps then you are in the wrong place...there are other stamp companies out there that do it much better than I ever could (see stamp companies referenced above). But, if you are looking for stamps with fun and qwirky designs that you can use for anyone then this is the place to be...welcome!
Now on to the crafting!
Here is yet another CAS card I created for my niece Stephanie's 10th birthday...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLIE!
This card uses up some pink scrap paper and some white cardstock. I used some left over ribbon from about 5 years ago (just kidding...maybe 2 years) and the sentiment and candle from Another Year stamp set. I colored in the cndles with my copic markers (love!) and another clean and simple girlie birthday card is done!
Here is another view of the card to show off some of the dimension...
I hope you enjoyed my girlie card for my sweetie-pie niece. Come back each Tuesday through Sunday to be introduced to the new TradeFish Design Team. Have a wonderful week everyone and, as always, HAPPY CRAFTING!
Supplies
Stamps: Another Year (TradeFish Designs)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Paper: scraps (misc)
Embellishments: Pink ribbon (misc)
Tools: Copic Markers
I am a wife to Rob, a step-mom to Will, a friend (to many), and a crafter (for me). I have been papercrafting since I was a child but have only been making cards and scrapbooking for the past 9 or 10 years (who can keep track of the dates). My family also includes a sassy basset hound name Daisy Mae, a loveable black lab named Luke and a head-butting, bossy cat named Grilla! I love to share ideas and designs with others which is why I created this blog.

Hello Everyone!
Today's post is a special one...this is the day when I have the honor to announce the first ever design team for TradeFish Designs. I must say that I have received numerous applications and every single one highlighted a talented woman that would be a wonderful addition to any design team. Unfortunately I could only select four individuals. For those that were not selected, I appreciate the time and effort you put into your applications and I am honored that you wanted to be a part of TradeFish Designs. I hope that you will continue along with TradeFish for future opportunities to join the team and/or be a guest designer or part of our weekend spotlight (more about those things later).
Now, I would like to introduce the four talented ladies who will be representing TradeFish Designs:

Welcome to another day of Release Highlights - yet again I am working with Another Year and pumping out another birthday card. I am by nature a clean and simple-style crafter so it should be obvious that this card fits right into my style comfort zone. This card can be completed in less than 15 minutes. In fact, the most time-consuimg part was to paper-piece the birthday hat.
I started off with a plain white card base. I had paper-pieced the hat a few days ago and was saving it for something. I grabbed a color cardstock scrap from my scrap box and thought the hat would just pop off that color. But, I knew that the lavendar cardstock needed a little something extra. I had 2 options: (1) embossing or (2) embossing...LOL. I meant that I could use an embossing folder to add dimension to the cardstock or I could use a stamped image (the confetti stamp) and heat emboss. As you can see I chose to emboss with heat! I added the simple Happy Birthday sentiment and I was done. This card format is a great fall-back design for quick and easy cards for any ocassion.
To see more cards and ideas check out the ever-growing Gallery at TradeFish Designs. To check out the Another Year stamp set and others from the June Release go on over to TradeFish Designs.
Have a wonderful day and happy crafting!

So for today I though I would try my hand at making a CAS card. Let me know what you think.
Card Size 4.25 x 5.5
Kraft paper from Recollection
The Image and Sentiment are from TradeFish Designs called Grill Master, isn't that just cute. I colored the image with my copics. I have the perfect paper stack that goes really well with this stamp set and you will see that more later on.
Love this Stamp Set so many possibilities. I used memento ink in Rich Cocoa
Twine is from the Twinery
Button is from PTI
Here is a picture of the Stamp Set, just click on the picture to buy it too:

DP is from Paper Pizzaz
Silhouette Die Cut is from A Childs Year Cartridge
Divine Twine is from Mr. Cricut Crazy

I turned the bunting into a banner which I colored with copics. I took the star stamp and used it in the open space of the bunting.
I also used the banners that came with this set that coordinates so well with the other TFD stamps that you might have.

I colored the Rockets with my copics too and then I embossed the hollow star using Zing! white embossing powder.
I also add some sparkles and put some stickles on them
