You have probably noticed that I made a color change on the blog. The blogarooni needed a facelift but until a I find a new template I like or figure out how to make one I thought this bright pink stripey deal would perk things up around here.
So today I am starting a rather ambitious project considering I am slammed at work and life at home is even more hectic than usual this time of year. I have decided that I need to journal more and thought this December Daily Journal would be just the ticket. I know many of you are aware of of the neat December Daily Journal done by Ali Edwards. Well when Regina Easter (owner and designer) of The Cutting Cafe created her own digital designs to allow you to make your own December Daily Journal I knew this was what I needed to do. To check out the digital stamp set I used go HERE. So here goes...the Cover.
And here is Day 1...Wrapping Presents.
This year I did a little shopping on Black Friday...althought it was more like Gray Saturday as it was very late. Most of my shopping this year involves gift cards so I don't really have to venture to the stores much (yeah) and most of my shopping will be done in the first few days of December. This journal entry is an homage to the process of wrapping the few packages I will have under the tree this year.
The journal is created using the My Creations Journal from CTMH and 2 different paper collections from CTMH. I have tons of this paper because I love it and thought this journal would be a great way to show it off. The paper collection in this entry is called Aspen and is also from CTMH. See the fun title and daily countdown? Those are from The Cutting Cafe and stamps like this will be featured throughout the journal and my blog.
I hope you enjoyed Day 1. Come back tomorrow for Day 2...our Christmas Tree!
